GhostCountdown
A downloadable game for Windows
The time is ticking till the ghost fades. This is a project I kinda rushed for jam, but I wanted to see the difficulty in creating different mechanics and such, and overall learn how to code. This is not coded purely by me, I was using AI to get the tips and corrections, as well as some help with debugging. Planning on slightly expanding it in near future and make it more like an assassination game where you have to possess an enemy (like in current prototype!), or some kind of a robbery game like Payday
Controls & how to play
"WASD" to move
"Space" to jump
"E" to throw a dagger
"Shift" to spring"
"Ctrl" to dash
The timer is passively counting down. When it reaches zero - you die.
Each time you throw a dagger into an enemy, you become a ghost. While in a ghost state, your timer is ticking down much faster, but enemies can't see you. Come close to an enemy to possess it, restoring timer speed. If you possess an enemy struck by a dagger, receive extra time.
Staying close to an enemy greatly decreases your time.
You also have a limited time to possession. If you fail to become a ghost before possession expires, you will lose some time
